About us
Adams Welfare Centre began with a simple observation: too many families in Sylhet were facing hardship alone — going without meals, missing healthcare, and carrying burdens no household should carry by itself. A small group of residents decided that a community that looks after its own is a community that thrives.
What started as weekend food parcels grew into a full welfare centre offering health outreach, family support and community services. Today we serve over a thousand families each year, powered by local volunteers and the generosity of donors and partners.
Our name carries our promise: to welcome everyone through our doors with dignity, and to walk with them until they are back on their feet.

Everyone who walks through our doors is a neighbour, never a case number. We listen before we act.
We are of this community, not outside it. Programs are shaped by the people they serve.
Every taka donated is accounted for. We report openly to our donors, partners and community.
